t was a very warm Saturday morning and off we went to Upminster.

We started the game brightly having a lot of the possession in the middle of the park. Immy, Emma Tweddle and Katie linking up well. When Upminster did have the ball Ruby James and Lisa Dixon were firm in defence, with Jess Lennard making her usual amazing saves.
Kate (our multi positional player ) on the wing chased down long balls from Emma and crossed the into the D with Smithy ( Annabelle?) unable to get the final touch. We went into half time 0-0 but felt we had the upper hand.

We started the second half wanting a goal. Being able penetrate their defence down the middle through Chantal Pampellone and EmmaTweddle we created some goal scoring opportunities, but final touches were going wide.

Courtney Ferns and Smithy created chances down the left and Katie Immy and Suzy created them on the right but unfortunately there was no goal.

Well done to the players who played up this week. You did yourselves proud
