Following a disappointing loss the week before, the team was determined to turn things around.

A strong start from the boys saw Matthew Bradley-Jones bag his first goal of the season 10 minutes in!

The momentum was quickly capitalised on by Vish Mayo, who scored the first of his 4 goals 15 minutes in. Braintree bounced back with a goal shortly after, but Matt Hyden quickly got us back on track with a great response, maintaining Crostyx’s 2-goal lead. Vish secured another goal just before the end of the first half, giving Crostyx a 3-goal lead at half-time.

Crostyx continued to push, and despite 2 more goals in the second half from Braintree, Crostyx managed to net 3 more, securing a 7-3 win. A perfectly placed aerial from Vice-Captain Tom Mead allowed Matt Hyden to beat their defence and set up Oscar Kyson to finish with the final goal.
