A great 8-0 win for the 3’s this week. We started on the attack and it paid of by being 7-0 by the end of the first half. We had some Ladies 3’s debut appearances from Kiera Murphy and Lottie Gillett from the junior section who settled in quickly to the game. Both gave solid performances with a great goal from Kiera Murphy and some strong defensive play from Lottie Gillett. Also new to the team was Lauren Sharkey who will be a great addition to our forward line, Lauren consistently drove the ball into the D and was instrumental in the final score line.

Star of the ladies 3’s Gill Woods still showing she has got her magic with a stunning hat trick. Not to be outdone, Suzy Haven got in the act also with her own hat trick. So many individuals to mention including a great first game back for Jessie Giles-Brown and some superb up front play from Atie Wadsworth.

All round the team played a great standard of hockey and worked well together showing we are growing in strength as a side.

Player of the match was Kiera Murphy a talented junior and one to watch for the future.
