First match up was against Old Loughts. The U12 girls dominated throughout, winning a number of short corners. Unfortunately Crostyx could not quite put the ball away, and Old Loughts were a very relieved side at the final whistle.

Second match against Saffron Walden, and the opposition felt the frustration of Crostyx's failure to score in the first match. A short corner move was expertly put away by Imogen Murphy, and then Clara Johnson scored 4 excellent team goals as Crostyx did not allow Saffron Walden any space or time. Sophie in goal dealt with anything that came her way, Alicia on debut at left back was a solid performer, and Kiera Murphy provided pace and power on the right. Jasmine Wadsworth worked tirelessly in getting the ball back in midfield, and Helene Standring harried the Saffron Walden defence to distraction. The passing moves were slick, and Crostyx played at pace. A 5-0 win was well deserved.
