After controlling most of the first half Styx took the lead with a brilliant 5 man movement which was started by Matt Stors and culminated with him finishing off the move. Styx then abosorbed the pressure as Rochford looked for the equaliser which duly came right on the stroke of half time.

At the restart Rochford then took the lead from a short corner which was burried into the right hand corner. As the second half went on Styx found it more difficult to control the midfield. A brilliant goal line clearence from the captain Mike Fisher kept Styx in contention before Simon Gilbert finished off the game with a resounding strike to put Crostyx level in front of a home crowd at 2-2.

The side can take great heart from this performance as they have now played the top 2 sides in their first 4 games. Crostyx have an early game this week away at East London with a 10am start!
