Crostyx went to East London in good heart having held the league leaders to a draw the previous week.
The early start of 10am worked in the visitors favour as they dominated the first half with possession and two good short corners. All the good work was undone on the stroke of half time as a a tame shot was deflected in off the Crostyx Captain's stick and meant the team went in at half time one down.
The second half was a different strory as the home side came into the game and with two quick successive counter attacks resulting in the home side taking a three goal lead. Crostyx responded and a changed short corner routine resulted in Vishal Mayo striking towards the goal and Duncam Ramsbotham getting the vital touch lifting the ball passed the East London keeper.
Within 10 minutes Crotyx got another goal back due to a well taken short high into the East London goal by Paul Murphy. Crostyx went looking for the equaliser but unfortunately ran out of time.
This was a good performance highlighted by man of the match Pete Hough who ran endlessly in search of the equaliser. This week Crosyx are home to bottom of the table Colchester 1.30pm start.
