In the battle of Lee Valley it was Wapping who came out triumphant on this occasion. Continuing with the theme of the season for Crostyx the team that scores the first goal of the game failed to come away with win, as Jake Burke scored early to give Crostyx the lead in their changed white kits. Wapping eased their way back into the game with the conversion of several short corners and established a 2-1 lead by the half. Crostyx went close to finding an equalizer twice when Rob Harrison's cross just eluded Burke, and it was the former who then deflected wide from a Phil Walker cross.

Wapping swiftly countered this spell from Crosytx with 2 more short corner goals putting them comfortably 4-1 ahead and in the dying minutes they extended their lead to 5-1 after the breaking clear of the defense and rounding the keeper before coolly slotting home.

Crostyx will be hoping to bounce back with a strong performance next week at home.
